All through her life, Sara Evans only held the one aim: be a country singer and composer. Evans stated to John Meroney, of American Enterprise: "God placed me on this earth to sing." "It is something I love doing more than any other thing which is why I'm bound to be successful." Evans was determined to make it big through introducing classic country hits that were popularized by Patsy Cline. Hank Snow. Tammy Wynette. George Jones. Also Patty Loveless. These musicians Evans believed to be among her top influences. Evans born in the year 1970, made her first mark during the late 90s, as many aspiring country music artists turned towards contemporary pop songs. This is exemplified through her 1997 debut album, True Lies. But despite critical acceptance and a nomination by the Academy of Country Music in 1998 for being the top female singer, True Lies made little significant impact. Evans released her next album in 1999, No Place That Far resulted from her bowing before producers, who persuaded that she needed to expand her repertoire. It was the moment she finally earned the recognition that she has always wanted from the time she was young. Sara Evans, born on February 5th, 1971 in Columbia Missouri and is a singer and songwriter from America. She was raised in Columbia in Columbia, Missouri with her six brothers and sisters
